Statistically the most elite sire in the southern hemisphere. Extreme Choice is only the 2nd sire in History to sire a Golden Slipper and Melbourne Cup Winner.

This year at Magic Millions, two of Extreme Choice’s son Stay Inside’s Colts will be in the ring, and BTX offers a unique investment opportunity in the heart of the horse racing industry: fractional broodmare ownership.

While often overlooked, broodmares play a crucial role in the breeding process, influencing the quality of future generations of racehorses.

Partnering with Blue Gum Farm, BTX provides investors the chance to own a share in a portfolio of five elite broodmares valued at over $1.7 million. This innovative approach allows you to experience the thrill of thoroughbred breeding first-hand. As a fractional owner, you'll share in the potential rewards of selling their foals at auction.

Sean Dingwall, who is the Owner and Principal of Blue Gum Farm, advocates the use of technology. “For us, it’s about stimulating new ownership in a lot of ways and having a good experience.” says Dingwall.

This is the first occasion Blue Gum Farm has offered micro shares to take a small chunk of the shares of their horses.

Whilst this is Sean’s second year presence at Magic as Blue Gum Farm (but has been attending for the last 20 years), he shares that they have “finished in the top 10 by average”. Talking to Sean in preparation for the Magic Millions on the Gold Coast, he says that he’ll have 14 horses for sale at the Magics Auction. “We have well-bred colts, especially from Golden Slipper winner Stay Inside.”

Bruce Slade, Bloodstock agent for Newgate, says it’s great to be a part of this innovation.

“They’ve chosen well from a stallion perspective best, tend to be best sons of best stallions in the world, top sire blue diamond winner, blue stakes winner, statistically one of the best stallions in the southern hemisphere, Melbourne cup winners from a small crop.”

“A high probability sire and mare Don’t Tell the Boss is also great to get a young stallion, that produces good runners.” says Slade.

Colt Stay Inside x Don’t Tell The Boss ‘23 has been a standout at Blue Gum Farm and has been a favourite throughout, receiving high praise, including from Barry Bowditch. The son of first season-sire and Golden Slipper winner Stay Inside, he offers a promising pedigree and an exciting opportunity for buyers.

Colt Stay Inside x Prosecution '23 is an outstanding prospect for buyers seeking a horse with scope and long-term potential. By Golden Slipper winner and first-season sire Stay Inside, this colt boasts a quality pedigree and shares similarities with his half-brother, who sold for $300,000 at the Gold Coast. With strong X-rays and excellent scope, he promises to develop into a lovely horse for those looking beyond the early two-year-old market.
