1. Can you tell us about your journey into horse racing?
I began my career as an apprentice with Pat Duff, followed by working for John, Dan, and Chris Meagher. After moving to South Australia, I apprenticed under Tony Mc Evoy, riding a winner at Flemington. I subsequently worked as a stable rider for John Hickmott for three years.

What's your training routine to maintain peak physical fitness?
I maintain my fitness through daily trackwork, running, gym workouts, and a balanced diet.
Can you describe your most unforgettable moment on the track?
My favourite day riding was Melbourne Cup Day 2019. I had two rides that day. Racing down the straight in front of all those people was the best feeling ever.

Who's your favourite horse to ride, and why?
If I could have ridden any horse, I would have like to feel what it would be like to ride, is Black Caviar. For her to be still bridled up and have other group 1 horses off the bridle chasing. She must’ve had some gears.
What advice would you give to young people interested in pursuing a career in horse racing?
If I was to give advice to young riders that want to come into the industry. Once you’re committed to becoming a jockey, if that’s what you want to do. Once you have the commitment, you need the discipline and hard work to get you there. And try loving the horses first it takes you a long way if you love your partner you are working with every day.
